alp is a designer, thinker, and writer, currently an architectural designer at robert a. m. stern in new york city. he recently completed his bachelor of architecture at cornell university.
being raised in both washington d.c. and istanbul, turkey has allowed alp to gain a deep understanding of the two different cultures and urbanisms—a critical perspective he brings to whatever he does.
alp strives to constantly think analytically about questions relating to architectural history, theory, and pedagogy, as well as near eastern studies, migration studies, and european studies.
